How virtual racing works
Virtual races are RNG-simulated 3D rendered events. Each race has 6-12 runners with form data (recent wins, distance preferences) shown before the off. The race plays out on screen with simulated commentary; results are decided at race start by RNG and visualized over the 2-3 minute race window. Settlements happen automatically when the finish line is crossed.
Win, place, each-way explained
Standard horse-racing markets carry over to virtual: Win = your runner finishes first, Place = your runner finishes top 2 or 3 (depending on field size), Each-way = combined win and place bet for half stakes each. Win pays bigger, place pays smaller but with much higher hit rate. Each-way is the middle ground — split the bet across two outcomes for a balanced variance profile.
Exacta, trifecta, and exotic markets
Exotic markets pay much bigger for predicting exact finishing order. Exacta = pick first and second in correct order. Trifecta = pick first, second, and third in correct order. Superfecta (where available) = first four in correct order. Hit rates are correspondingly low: an exacta in a 10-horse field has a base 1.1% probability if you pick at random. Higher payouts; higher variance.
Form data — guide or gimmick?
Each virtual runner shows generated form data (recent wins, places, last 5 races). This form data does NOT influence the RNG outcome — it is presentation to add betting interest. Some players use form data to choose runners; the outcome is independent. Treat form as flavour, not as predictive signal.
