How to deposit USDT or USDC from Ghana and play in cedis

To fund a Gamting account from Ghana, send USDT on the TRON network (TRC20) or USDC on the Polygon network to the address shown on your deposit page. Once the transfer confirms on the blockchain, the amount is credited to your balance in GH₵ at the rate displayed before you approved it. Those two coins on those two networks are the only deposit options. This guide covers each step and the errors that cost people money. 18+ only.

What you need before you start

  • A Gamting account. Register first if you haven't.
  • A crypto wallet or exchange account that holds USDT on TRON, or USDC on Polygon.
  • A small amount of the network's own coin for fees if you send from a personal wallet: TRX for TRON, POL for Polygon. Exchanges usually charge the fee from your balance instead.
  • A few calm moments. Rushing is where we see most mistakes happen, whether you're sending from Accra, Kumasi or Tamale.

The deposit, step by step

  1. Log in, go to the deposit page and choose either USDT (TRC20) or USDC (Polygon).
  2. Note the minimum amount, shown in cedis, and the conversion figure.
  3. Copy the deposit address with the copy button. Don't type it by hand.
  4. Open your wallet or exchange and start a withdrawal or send.
  5. Choose the same coin and the same network you picked on Gamting. This is the step that matters most.
  6. Paste the address, then compare the first 4 and last 4 characters with the ones on screen.
  7. Enter the amount, leaving room for the fee so that what arrives is above the minimum.
  8. Confirm the send. When the network confirms it, your GH₵ balance updates.
  9. Got a Telegram bonus code? Every code needs a deposit, so now that yours is sent, type the code into the bonus code box on your account dashboard within 15 minutes. No code? Skip this step, the welcome bonus doesn't need one.

The wrong-network mistakes we see most

Crypto doesn't forgive. At all. A coin sent on the wrong network to a deposit address usually can't be recovered, so read this part twice.

USDT on ERC20 or BEP20 instead of TRC20

USDT exists on several blockchains. Many exchanges offer Ethereum (ERC20) or BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) next to TRON (TRC20) in the network list, and some even pre-select one of them. Only TRC20 works for a USDT deposit here. Nothing else. A TRON address is 34 characters long and starts with a capital T, which is a handy last check.

USDC on Ethereum or another chain instead of Polygon

This one's sneakier. Polygon and Ethereum addresses look exactly the same: 42 characters, starting with 0x. Your wallet won't warn you if you pick the wrong chain. Make sure the network field says Polygon before you send USDC.

Sending the wrong coin

A USDT address on TRON can still receive other TRON tokens, and TRX is easy to send by accident because it sits next to USDT in many wallets. Only USDT is credited to a USDT deposit address. The same goes for Polygon: send USDC, not POL.

Amount too small after fees

If your exchange charges a withdrawal fee, the amount that arrives is lower than what you typed. Send enough that the arriving amount still clears the minimum shown on the deposit page.

USDT or USDC: which one should you use?

Both are stablecoins designed to track the US dollar, so for a deposit they do the same job. The choice mostly comes down to what you already hold. If your exchange balance is in USDT and it supports TRC20 withdrawals, use that. If you keep USDC on Polygon in a personal wallet, use that. Converting from one coin to the other just to deposit adds an extra fee for no real gain.

Sending from an exchange or a personal wallet

From an exchange, you use its withdrawal screen: choose the coin, choose the network, paste the Gamting address. The exchange takes its fee from the amount. From a personal wallet such as a phone app, you send directly and pay the network fee in TRX or POL yourself. Both work fine. Just remember that some exchanges list TRON under names like "TRX" or "Tron (TRC20)", so read the network label carefully.

How the balance in cedis works

Your Gamting balance is held in GH₵, not in crypto. When the deposit confirms, the USDT or USDC is converted at the figure shown on the deposit screen, and from that moment stakes, wins and bonuses are all in cedis. Sending 50 USDT gives you the cedi value of 50 USDT at the displayed rate. You don't hold any coin on the account afterwards, so price movements in crypto don't change your cedi balance.

Bonuses linked to your deposit

The first deposit triggers the GH₵12 welcome bonus and the first-deposit bonus, both automatically and without a code. Each day, deposits made during the Happy Hours window, in local time, can receive up to 5% extra. One bonus applies per deposit, the more valuable one when two are possible. Details and wagering terms are on the Ghana promotions page.

Withdrawals

Cashing out works in reverse. Open the withdrawal page, choose USDT or USDC, and enter the address of a wallet you own. The same network rule applies: a TRON address for USDT, a Polygon address for USDC. Your request appears in your transaction history with its current status, and every request is reviewed by our team before it's sent. Bonus money has to complete its wagering before it can be withdrawn. If something looks wrong, open a support ticket from your account.

Keeping your wallet safe

  • Never share your seed phrase or private key with anyone, including people claiming to be support.
  • Bookmark the real site and log in from the bookmark.
  • Check the address after pasting. Some phone malware swaps copied addresses.
  • Send a small test amount first, say 5 USDT, when you use a new wallet. It's a cheap lesson if anything's wrong.

Where to go next

Once your balance is in cedis, you can bet on the Premier League and the Black Stars with our football betting in Ghana guide, or head to the casino. Set a budget before your first deposit and stick to it. Our responsible gambling page has help if you need it.

Common Questions

Can I deposit USDT on BEP20 or ERC20 instead of TRC20?

No. USDT deposits are accepted only on the TRON network, known as TRC20, and USDC only on Polygon. A coin sent over a different network to the deposit address is usually lost for good and can't be credited. In your wallet or exchange, choose TRC20 or Polygon in the network field before you paste the address, and check it again before you confirm.

Why do I need TRX or POL in my wallet?

Every blockchain charges a small fee for each transfer, paid in its own coin. On TRON that coin is TRX, and on Polygon it's POL. If you send from a personal wallet with no TRX or POL, the transfer won't go through. Exchanges normally take their withdrawal fee from your balance, so you may not need these coins when sending from an exchange.

Will my balance go up or down if the crypto price changes?

No. The account balance is held in GH₵, so once your USDT or USDC is converted at the rate on the deposit screen, you hold cedis rather than coins. Movements in crypto markets after that point don't change your balance. The rate matters again only when you withdraw, because the cedi amount is converted back into USDT or USDC.

My deposit hasn't shown up yet. What should I check?

First, look up the transaction in your wallet or exchange and confirm it was sent on the correct network to the exact address shown on the deposit page. Then check the amount that arrived after fees was above the minimum. If everything matches and the balance still hasn't changed, open a support ticket from your account with the transaction ID.

Can I withdraw to someone else's wallet?

Withdrawals should go to a USDT or USDC wallet that belongs to you. Using your own wallet keeps things simple when the team reviews the request and avoids disputes about where the money went. Make sure the receiving address is on the right network, TRON for USDT or Polygon for USDC, before you submit, because the same wrong-network risk applies to withdrawals.
