What is USDT TRC20?
USDT TRC20 is Tether's dollar stablecoin issued on the TRON network. Addresses start with T and are 34 characters long, and network fees are paid in TRX.
USDT on TRC20 is Tether's dollar stablecoin running on the TRON network. It's 1 of 2 crypto options in the Gamting cashier, next to USDC on Polygon, and in India you can also pay with UPI. Below: the 8 steps of a TRC20 deposit, what a correct address looks like and how the TRX network fee works. Get those right and your first transfer lands without a support ticket.
A TRON address always starts with a capital T and is 34 characters long. Easy to spot. Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain and Polygon addresses all start with "0x" and run to 42 characters, and they look almost identical to each other, which is where most mix-ups happen. One more check worth knowing: real USDT on TRON comes from the Tether contract TR7NHqjeKQxGTCi8q8ZY4pL8otSzgjLj6t. If a wallet shows a "USDT" token from any other contract, it isn't Tether's.
| Network | Address starts with | Length | Fee paid in | On Gamting |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TRON (TRC20) | T | 34 characters | TRX | USDT deposits |
| Polygon | 0x | 42 characters | POL | USDC deposits |
| Ethereum (ERC20) | 0x | 42 characters | ETH | Not accepted |
| BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) | 0x | 42 characters | BNB | Not accepted |
One quick test: if the address on the payment page starts with T, the network in your wallet must say TRON or TRC20. If your wallet offers to send to it on any other network, stop and switch.
Gamting adds 0% and no fixed charge to a crypto deposit. The only cost is the TRON network fee. Whoever sends the coins pays it.
On TRON, a USDT transfer uses two resources called energy and bandwidth. If your wallet doesn't have enough of them, the network burns a few TRX to cover the transfer instead. The exact figure moves with network settings and with whether the receiving address has held USDT before, so wallets show it on the confirm screen. With 0 TRX in the wallet the transfer can fail. Keep a small TRX balance next to your USDT.
Exchanges such as Binance or OKX cover the TRON fee themselves and charge you a withdrawal fee in USDT instead. Some take it from the amount you type. Then less arrives than you meant to send. Here's how that plays out with example figures, say a 12 USDT payment and a 1 USDT fee:
| Example | Payment page asks for | Exchange fee | You enter | What arrives |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fee taken from the amount | 12 USDT | 1 USDT | 13 USDT | 12 USDT |
| Fee added on top | 12 USDT | 1 USDT | 12 USDT | 12 USDT |
Your exchange shows "you will receive" or "amount received" on the withdrawal screen. Make sure that line matches the payment page, not the line above it.
TRON produces a new block about every 3 seconds. The transfer itself is quick. Your Gamting balance updates once the payment page has seen enough confirmations, which is usually a matter of minutes. Busy periods on an exchange can add a delay before the coins even leave, so check whether your exchange has actually sent the withdrawal.
Nothing after 30 minutes? Paste your TXID into Tronscan, the TRON block explorer. You're looking for 3 things: status confirmed, the right receiving address and the right amount. All 3 correct? Then open a support ticket from your account and paste in the TXID, the amount and the time you sent it. That's the quickest way for the team to trace it.
| Mistake | What happens | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Sent on ERC20 or BEP20 instead of TRC20 | The payment isn't credited automatically | Open a support ticket with the TXID. Recovery can't be promised, so always check the network first |
| Sent less than the amount shown | The payment can show as partly paid | Open a ticket with the TXID and the amount sent |
| Reused an address from an older deposit | Each deposit can come with its own address, so an old one may not match your new payment | Start a new deposit every time and copy the fresh address |
| No TRX in the sending wallet | The transfer fails or never leaves your wallet | Add a few TRX and send again |
| Sent after the payment page timed out | The payment may not be matched to your deposit | Open a ticket with the TXID before starting another deposit |

No. The Gamting cashier does not add a charge to your deposit. You only pay the TRON network fee, or your exchange's withdrawal fee if you send from an exchange.
No. USDT deposits on Gamting use the TRON (TRC20) network only. A transfer on another network is not credited automatically, so always choose TRC20 or TRON in your wallet.
TRON confirms blocks about every 3 seconds, so most deposits show in your balance within minutes of being sent. If nothing arrives after 30 minutes, check the TXID on Tronscan and open a support ticket from your account.
Start a new deposit each time and copy the address shown for that payment. Each deposit can come with its own address, so an older one may not match.
