USDT betting in Kenya: deposit stablecoins, play in shillings
On Gamting, a Kenyan account is funded in exactly two ways: USDT sent over the TRON network (TRC20) or USDC sent over Polygon. Once the transfer confirms on the blockchain, it's converted and your balance reads in Kenyan shillings, ready for the sportsbook or the casino. No other coin or network is accepted. The whole job comes down to holding the right coin, picking the matching network and pasting the correct address. Below is each step, the mistakes we see most, how the KSh figure is worked out and how withdrawals go. For adults 18+ only.
What you need before you start
- A Gamting account in KSh. No account yet? Register first.
- A wallet you control. That can be an exchange account that lets you withdraw to outside addresses, or a self-custody wallet app.
- The stablecoin on the right chain. USDT on TRON, or USDC on Polygon. You can usually buy it inside the crypto exchange or wallet app you already use.
- A little of the fee coin. TRON transfers are paid for in TRX. Polygon transfers are paid for in POL, which was previously named MATIC. Without it in the sending wallet, the transfer simply won't leave.
If you send from an exchange, it usually takes the network fee off the amount for you, so you won't need the fee coin there. Check the withdrawal screen of your exchange to see which applies.
Depositing, one screen at a time
1. Sign in, open Deposit and choose your coin
You'll see two choices, USDT (TRC20) and USDC (Polygon). Choose the one sitting in your wallet. The screen shows the smallest deposit accepted, in shillings, and the conversion rate for that coin.
2. Copy our address, don't type it
Use the copy button. A TRON address begins with a capital T, while a Polygon address begins with 0x. If what you pasted into your wallet doesn't start the way it should, stop and copy it again.
3. Set the network in your wallet
This is the step that decides everything. Many wallets and exchanges offer USDT on five or six networks and quietly default to one of them. Pick TRON (TRC20) for USDT, Polygon for USDC, and read the network name once more on the confirmation screen.
4. Send, then let the chain confirm
Enter an amount that clears the KSh minimum after conversion, then send. When the network confirms the transfer, the deposit is credited and the shilling amount shows in your balance. Keep the transaction hash (TXID) your wallet gives you, just in case.
5. Got a Telegram code? Use it after the deposit
Telegram codes are optional, and each one needs a deposit. If you've picked one up from our channel, make your deposit first, then type the code into the bonus code box on your account dashboard within 15 minutes of it. New codes appear every hour, claims are limited and they go first come first served.
Wrong networks: the costly mistake
The same coin name exists on many blockchains. USDT on Ethereum (ERC20), BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), Solana or TON is not the same as USDT on TRON, even though the wallet calls them all "USDT". Send it on any of those to a TRC20 address and it won't reach your balance, and in most cases it can't be recovered. USDC follows the same rule: only USDC on Polygon is credited. Other tokens sent to our address, TRX and POL included, aren't credited either.
Three habits prevent nearly every loss we hear about:
- Read the network, not just the coin, before you press send.
- Match the address shape: T for TRON, 0x for Polygon.
- For your very first deposit, send a small amount above the minimum, wait for it to appear, then send the rest.
How the KSh balance is worked out
Your USDT or USDC is converted once, at the rate quoted on the Deposit page when the deposit is credited. After that the account runs entirely in shillings: stakes, winnings, bonuses and limits. Take an example with a made-up rate of KSh 129 per USDT. Sending 25 USDT gives a balance of KSh 3,225. If the dollar moves against the shilling next month, your KSh 3,225 stays KSh 3,225. The rate only matters again when shillings go back out as crypto. Always use the rate on your Deposit page, not this example.
If the number is a little lower than you worked out, look at your wallet's history first. Network fees are often taken from the amount sent, so 25 USDT leaving an exchange may arrive as slightly less.
Offers that come with deposits
Your opening deposit brings the KSh 140 welcome bonus and a first-deposit bonus, credited on their own with no code. Later deposits that are credited inside the daily Happy Hours window can carry up to 5% extra; the window is listed in local time. Because it's the confirmation that counts, not the moment you tap send, leave a little margin before the window closes. Invite friends and you earn lifetime referral commission across three levels. The Kenya promotions page lists every offer and its wagering rules.
Withdrawing to your own wallet
When you want to cash out, request a withdrawal and enter a USDT or USDC address that belongs to you, on the network the form names. Our team reviews each request, and your withdrawal history shows where it stands from the moment you submit it. Bonus shillings have to finish their wagering before they can be withdrawn. The wrong-network rule applies on the way out too: a TRON payout needs a T address, a Polygon payout needs a 0x address.
If a deposit hasn't appeared
Don't send the same amount again. First check the TXID on a blockchain explorer, which shows whether the transfer is confirmed and which network it went on. If it's confirmed on the right network and still missing, open a support ticket from your account with the coin, the network, the amount and the TXID. That hash lets the team trace the payment.
