How to Deposit USDT on TRC20 at Gamting

USDT on TRC20 is Tether's dollar stablecoin running on the TRON network. It's 1 of 2 crypto options in the Gamting cashier, next to USDC on Polygon, and in India you can also pay with UPI. Below: the 8 steps of a TRC20 deposit, what a correct address looks like and how the TRX network fee works. Get those right and your first transfer lands without a support ticket.

What you need before you start

  • A Gamting account. Your balance stays in your account currency (PHP in India, BDT in Bangladesh and so on). The payment page converts that amount into USDT for you.
  • USDT on the TRON network, held in a wallet or on an exchange that lets you send over TRC20.
  • A little TRX in the same wallet if you send from a personal wallet. TRON charges its network fee in TRX, not in USDT.
  • About 5 minutes. Most of that is checking the address before you hit send.

A TRC20 deposit, step by step

  1. Log in and open Deposit from your account menu.
  2. Pick the crypto payment option and type the amount in your account currency. The cashier shows the minimum and maximum for your currency right there, so you'll know straight away if the amount fits.
  3. Confirm. A payment page opens.
  4. Choose USDT and the TRON (TRC20) network on that page. It then shows the exact USDT amount and a TRON address, usually with a QR code.
  5. Copy the address with the copy button, or scan the QR code. Don't type it by hand.
  6. In your wallet (Trust Wallet, TronLink or an exchange app), choose USDT, pick TRC20 / TRON as the network, paste the address and enter the exact amount shown.
  7. Check the first 4 and last 4 characters of the address against the payment page, then send. If the page shows a timer, send before it runs out.
  8. Keep the transaction ID (TXID) your wallet gives you. Your balance updates once the transfer is confirmed.

What a TRC20 address looks like

A TRON address always starts with a capital T and is 34 characters long. Easy to spot. Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain and Polygon addresses all start with "0x" and run to 42 characters, and they look almost identical to each other, which is where most mix-ups happen. One more check worth knowing: real USDT on TRON comes from the Tether contract TR7NHqjeKQxGTCi8q8ZY4pL8otSzgjLj6t. If a wallet shows a "USDT" token from any other contract, it isn't Tether's.

TRON (TRC20)T34 charactersTRXUSDT deposits
Polygon0x42 charactersPOLUSDC deposits
Ethereum (ERC20)0x42 charactersETHNot accepted
BNB Smart Chain (BEP20)0x42 charactersBNBNot accepted

One quick test: if the address on the payment page starts with T, the network in your wallet must say TRON or TRC20. If your wallet offers to send to it on any other network, stop and switch.

Network fees: who pays what

Gamting adds 0% and no fixed charge to a crypto deposit. The only cost is the TRON network fee. Whoever sends the coins pays it.

On TRON, a USDT transfer uses two resources called energy and bandwidth. If your wallet doesn't have enough of them, the network burns a few TRX to cover the transfer instead. The exact figure moves with network settings and with whether the receiving address has held USDT before, so wallets show it on the confirm screen. With 0 TRX in the wallet the transfer can fail. Keep a small TRX balance next to your USDT.

Sending from an exchange

Exchanges such as Binance or OKX cover the TRON fee themselves and charge you a withdrawal fee in USDT instead. Some take it from the amount you type. Then less arrives than you meant to send. Here's how that plays out with example figures, say a 12 USDT payment and a 1 USDT fee:

ExamplePayment page asks forExchange feeYou enterWhat arrives
Fee taken from the amount12 USDT1 USDT13 USDT12 USDT
Fee added on top12 USDT1 USDT12 USDT12 USDT

Your exchange shows "you will receive" or "amount received" on the withdrawal screen. Make sure that line matches the payment page, not the line above it.

How long it takes to show up

TRON produces a new block about every 3 seconds. The transfer itself is quick. Your Gamting balance updates once the payment page has seen enough confirmations, which is usually a matter of minutes. Busy periods on an exchange can add a delay before the coins even leave, so check whether your exchange has actually sent the withdrawal.

Nothing after 30 minutes? Paste your TXID into Tronscan, the TRON block explorer. You're looking for 3 things: status confirmed, the right receiving address and the right amount. All 3 correct? Then open a support ticket from your account and paste in the TXID, the amount and the time you sent it. That's the quickest way for the team to trace it.

Mistakes that hold up a deposit

MistakeWhat happensWhat to do
Sent on ERC20 or BEP20 instead of TRC20The payment isn't credited automaticallyOpen a support ticket with the TXID. Recovery can't be promised, so always check the network first
Sent less than the amount shownThe payment can show as partly paidOpen a ticket with the TXID and the amount sent
Reused an address from an older depositEach deposit can come with its own address, so an old one may not match your new paymentStart a new deposit every time and copy the fresh address
No TRX in the sending walletThe transfer fails or never leaves your walletAdd a few TRX and send again
Sent after the payment page timed outThe payment may not be matched to your depositOpen a ticket with the TXID before starting another deposit

After the deposit: bonuses and withdrawals

Your first qualifying deposit (PHP 500 or more in India) gets a bonus automatically. You'll see the amount in the cashier before you pay. Only one bonus applies per deposit, and if a Happy Hour or a flash code is worth more, you get that one instead. Bonus funds need to be wagered 10 times before they can be withdrawn, and the full rules sit on the wagering requirements page.

Withdrawals work the other way round. You request one, it's reviewed, and once approved it's sent instantly to the wallet address you give. The crypto withdrawal guide covers that side. If you'd rather use Polygon, read how to deposit USDC on Polygon, and for a broader look at every crypto option see crypto deposits on Gamting.

Common Questions

What is USDT TRC20?

USDT TRC20 is Tether's dollar stablecoin issued on the TRON network. Addresses start with T and are 34 characters long, and network fees are paid in TRX.

Does Gamting charge a fee for USDT TRC20 deposits?

No. The Gamting cashier does not add a charge to your deposit. You only pay the TRON network fee, or your exchange's withdrawal fee if you send from an exchange.

Can I send USDT on ERC20 or BEP20 instead?

No. USDT deposits on Gamting use the TRON (TRC20) network only. A transfer on another network is not credited automatically, so always choose TRC20 or TRON in your wallet.

How long does a USDT TRC20 deposit take?

TRON confirms blocks about every 3 seconds, so most deposits show in your balance within minutes of being sent. If nothing arrives after 30 minutes, check the TXID on Tronscan and open a support ticket from your account.

Can I reuse the deposit address next time?

Start a new deposit each time and copy the address shown for that payment. Each deposit can come with its own address, so an older one may not match.
