How keno works on Gamting Play
You select 1–10 numbers from a grid of 1–80. The game draws 20 winning numbers. Your payout depends on how many of your picks were drawn. Selecting 10 numbers and matching all 10 typically pays 10,000× the stake, but the probability is roughly 1 in 8.9 million. Smaller picks have higher hit rates but lower top payouts. Each round resolves in seconds.
Pick strategy
Lower-variance players pick 3-5 numbers (frequent small wins). Higher-variance players pick 8-10 (occasional huge wins). The expected return is roughly the same across picks — only the payout distribution changes. There is no system or pattern that beats keno house edge over the long run — the RNG draws are statistically independent.
Provably fair keno
BGAMING keno variants are provably fair — each draw uses a cryptographic seed (server seed published before the round commits, client seed combinable) that you can verify post-draw. This is the strongest fairness guarantee in keno; the RNG cannot be manipulated, and you can confirm independently after each round.
Keno vs lottery
Keno and lottery share number-picking mechanics, but keno offers continuous play (next draw in seconds) while lotteries draw once per day or week. Keno house edges are typically 4-10% depending on the variant — better than scratch cards, worse than blackjack or baccarat. Choose keno when you want quick-paced number picking, not as a value-driven betting strategy.
Available keno variants
INBET, EVOPLAY and PGSLOTS each produce keno variants with different theming, multiplier tables and pick rules. Some variants offer "boost" features where you double your stake for an enhanced payout multiplier. Browse the lobby grid above to see specific titles.
