USDT deposits in Zambia: send stablecoins, play in kwacha
To deposit at Gamting from Zambia, you send USDT on the TRON network (TRC20) or USDC on Polygon to the address shown in your cashier. When the transfer is confirmed on the blockchain, the amount is converted and credited to your account in kwacha. Those are the only two deposit options, and the network you pick in your wallet must match the one you pick on our side. Accounts are for adults aged 18 and over.
Below you'll find the full process, the errors that cause lost deposits, and what happens when you want your money back out.
Before you start: what you need
- A Gamting account. Register first if you haven't. Your currency is set to ZMW.
- A crypto wallet or exchange account holding USDT or USDC. It must be able to send on TRC20 for USDT, or on Polygon for USDC.
- A little of the network's own coin for fees. On TRON that's TRX. On Polygon it's POL, the token that used to be called MATIC. Without it, many wallets won't let the transfer leave.
If you're sending from an exchange, the exchange usually pays the network fee and deducts a withdrawal charge from your amount instead. Look at the figure it says will arrive, not just the figure you typed.
The deposit, step by step
- Log in and open the cashier from your account.
- Choose USDT (TRC20) or USDC (Polygon). The minimum deposit appears in kwacha.
- Copy the deposit address shown on the screen.
- In your wallet, pick the same coin and the same network. For USDT that's TRON or TRC20. For USDC that's Polygon.
- Paste the address and compare the first four and last four characters with the cashier. Clipboard malware does exist.
- Enter the amount, check the fee, and send.
- Wait for the network to confirm. Your kwacha balance updates once it does, whether you're in Lusaka, Kitwe or Mongu, and the deposit shows in your transaction history.
The exchange rate from USDT or USDC to ZMW is displayed before you confirm in the cashier, so you know what K amount to expect. Stablecoins track the US dollar, which means the kwacha value of your deposit follows the dollar rate on that day.
Wrong-network mistakes, and how to avoid every one
This is where people lose money, and it's almost always the same handful of slip-ups. Transfers on a blockchain can't be reversed once they're sent, so it pays to check twice.
USDT sent on the wrong chain
USDT exists on at least 5 big networks, including TRON, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Solana and Polygon. Our USDT address is for TRC20 only. If your wallet defaults to BEP20 or ERC20 and you send there, the coins don't arrive in your Gamting account. Change the network setting to TRON before you paste the address.
USDC sent on Ethereum or another chain
The same problem in reverse. Our USDC option is Polygon only. Sending USDC on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum or Solana means it won't reach your account.
The right network, the wrong coin
Sending USDC to the USDT address, or TRX instead of USDT, is another common error. The coin and the network both have to match what you chose in the cashier.
Checking the address by eye
A TRON address starts with a capital T and runs to 34 characters. A Polygon address starts with 0x and runs to 42. If the length looks wrong, so does the network. If you've selected TRC20 in the cashier and your wallet shows an address starting with 0x, stop and recheck the network.
If a deposit doesn't show after the network has confirmed it, open a support ticket from your account with the transaction hash, the amount and the network you used. Keep a screenshot of the transfer for your own records.
Your balance in kwacha
After the deposit lands, everything inside the account is counted in ZMW. Football stakes, casino rounds and bonuses all show as K amounts. You never need to think in dollars while you play, which makes it much easier to keep track of what you've spent.
Here's an example from a player in Ndola. Say you send 20 USDT and the rate on screen turns it into a kwacha figure. That K figure is your playable balance. If you bet K50 on the Kitwe derby and it wins at 2.10, K105 comes back into the same balance, still in kwacha.
Bonuses connected to your deposit
The first deposit on a Zambian account triggers a K20 welcome bonus and a first-deposit bonus, both credited automatically with no code. After that, a daily Happy Hours window in local time adds up to 5% on qualifying deposits, and the hours are listed on Zambia promotions. A deposit receives one bonus only, the most valuable one it qualifies for.
Telegram bonus codes are optional. A new one appears on our channel every hour, each with a limited number of claims, first come first served. The order matters: send your USDT or USDC first, then log in, open your account dashboard and enter the code in the bonus code box within 15 minutes of that deposit. Every code needs a deposit to work.
Withdrawing back to your wallet
Withdrawals follow the same route in reverse. You request a payout in the cashier to a USDT or USDC wallet that belongs to you, choosing the correct network for the coin. Each request is reviewed by our team, and you can follow its status in your history from the moment you submit it.
- Use a wallet address you control. Double-check the network as carefully as you did for the deposit.
- Any bonus funds must have met their wagering conditions before they can be withdrawn.
- Questions about a request go through a support ticket in your account.
