What Time Are NBA Games in the Philippines in 2026-27?
Most NBA games in the 2026-27 season tip off in the morning in the Philippines, usually between 7:00 AM and 11:30 AM Philippine Time (PHT). A 7:30 PM game in New York is 7:30 AM in Manila until 1 November, then 8:30 AM from 2 November, when the US turns its clocks back. That one-hour shift stays until 14 March 2027.
Below you'll find a ready conversion table for every common tip-off slot, the key dates of the season in PHT, and the five Christmas games, which land here on the morning of 26 December. Every time on this page was converted from the official US start using the Asia/Manila time zone, not worked out by hand, so you don't have to do the maths at 6 AM.
Why NBA games move one hour later in early November
The Philippines stays on UTC+8 all year. The US doesn't. New York runs on daylight saving time (UTC-4) until Sunday 1 November 2026, then switches to standard time (UTC-5). So the gap between Manila and New York grows from 11 hours to 12 hours.
For you and me, that means the 7:00 PM games that have been tipping at 7:00 AM since opening night on 20 October (21 October here) start at 8:00 AM from the games of Sunday 1 November US time, which reach us on Monday 2 November. It flips back on 14 March 2027, a few weeks before the playoffs, so the post-season runs on the earlier morning slots again.
NBA tip-off times in Philippine time, 2026-27
US schedules are printed in Eastern Time (ET). Find the ET start in the left column, then read across to the period you need. It's quicker than it looks. West Coast home games usually start at 7:00 PM or 7:30 PM local time in California, which is 10:00 PM or 10:30 PM ET.
| US Eastern start | PHT until 1 Nov 2026 | PHT 2 Nov 2026 to 14 Mar 2027 | PHT from 15 Mar 2027 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1:00 PM | 1:00 AM (next day) | 2:00 AM (next day) | 1:00 AM (next day) |
| 3:30 PM | 3:30 AM (next day) | 4:30 AM (next day) | 3:30 AM (next day) |
| 7:00 PM | 7:00 AM (next day) | 8:00 AM (next day) | 7:00 AM (next day) |
| 7:30 PM | 7:30 AM (next day) | 8:30 AM (next day) | 7:30 AM (next day) |
| 8:00 PM | 8:00 AM (next day) | 9:00 AM (next day) | 8:00 AM (next day) |
| 10:00 PM (7:00 PM on the West Coast) | 10:00 AM (next day) | 11:00 AM (next day) | 10:00 AM (next day) |
| 10:30 PM (7:30 PM on the West Coast) | 10:30 AM (next day) | 11:30 AM (next day) | 10:30 AM (next day) |
A quick rule that works most of the season: add 13 hours to the ET time from November to mid-March, and 12 hours before and after that window. A game listed for Tuesday night in the US is Wednesday morning for us. Weekend matinees at 1:00 PM or 3:30 PM ET fall at 2:00 AM or 4:30 AM here in winter, so those are the ones that'll cost you sleep. Puyat is real.

Emirates NBA Cup
The in-season tournament starts on Friday 30 October in the US, so the first Cup group nights reach Manila on Saturday 31 October. Group play runs through 27 November. The eight knockout teams then play quarterfinals on 4 and 5 December US time, and the final moves away from Las Vegas this year to Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Friday 11 December, which is Saturday 12 December in the Philippines. The final's tip-off time hasn't been announced.
Christmas Day games land on 26 December here
The league kept its five-game Christmas slate, and it opens with a Finals rematch: the defending champion Knicks host the Spurs at noon ET. Because Christmas evening in the US is the morning after in Manila, the whole slate is a Saturday 26 December thing for Filipino fans, from 1:00 AM through to an 11:30 AM Nuggets and Warriors finish.
| Game | US start | Philippine time |
|---|---|---|
| San Antonio Spurs at New York Knicks | 12:00 PM ET, Fri 25 Dec | 1:00 AM, Sat 26 Dec |
| Miami Heat at Boston Celtics | 2:30 PM ET, Fri 25 Dec | 3:30 AM, Sat 26 Dec |

All-Star, the trade deadline and the run-in
The trade deadline is Thursday 11 February 2027 US time. All-Star weekend is in Phoenix from 19 to 21 February, and a Sunday evening game in Arizona lands on Monday morning here, so you'll likely be at work for it. Sorry, office crowd. The regular season closes on Sunday 11 April, every team plays that day, then the Play-In Tournament runs 13 to 16 April and the playoffs start on Saturday 17 April, which is Sunday 18 April in Manila. The league hasn't published the NBA Finals dates yet beyond June 2027.
Reading a US date as a Manila date
Most confusion comes from the date, not the hour. Any game that starts after 11:00 AM ET in winter, or after noon ET from mid-March, is already the next calendar day in the Philippines. In practice that's every NBA game except a few early weekend matinees. So when a US schedule says "Friday", you should check Saturday on your own calendar. We've all missed a tip-off this way at least once. That's also why searches like "NBA schedule tomorrow Philippine time" often show the US list for the wrong day.
Our NBA board does this conversion for you and lists each game in PHT, so the date on the slip matches your own calendar.
Following games and lines in PHT on Gamting
If you want to follow the NBA alongside the scores, the sportsbook lists every game with its PHT start, plus moneyline, handicap and total points markets in pesos. Our NBA and PBA guide for the Philippines walks through those three markets with a peso example, so we won't repeat it here. For the wider sportsbook, including boxing and football, see sports in the Philippines on Gamting.
Accounts here hold PHP, and you fund them with USDT on TRC20 or USDC on Polygon. If you haven't sent crypto to a betting account before, the USDT and USDC deposit guide for the Philippines covers picking the right network. Withdrawal requests are reviewed, then sent to your wallet once approved.
Where the PBA fits in
The PBA is the easy one for us. Its games are played here and already listed in Philippine Time, mostly late afternoon and evening. On a busy NBA morning you can follow an early game before work and still have the evening free for a PBA doubleheader. For both leagues in one place, start from the Gamting Philippines home page.
