When Is the Super Eagles' Next Match? Nigeria v Tanzania in Uyo
The Super Eagles' next match is against Tanzania on Friday 13 November 2026 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, an AFCON 2027 qualifier in Group L. The return follows on Tuesday 17 November in Tanzania. We haven't seen an official kick-off time for either game, and any time you find from before the dates changed belongs to the old schedule.
What date is Nigeria vs Tanzania, and what time in Nigeria?
Older previews say 11 and 15 November, with a 6:00 PM WAT kick-off in Uyo. Those dates are out of date. Afrik-Foot, citing the NFF, and Soccernet's report of 3 November both now have Uyo on the 13th and the return four days later.
| Date | Match | Venue | Kick-off (WAT) | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fri 13 Nov | Nigeria v Tanzania | Akpabio, Uyo | TBC | Reported, NFF dates |
| Tue 17 Nov | Tanzania v Nigeria | Dar es Salaam | TBC | Reported, venue unclear |
Soccernet and Afrik-Foot place the return in Dar es Salaam, while OwnGoal Nigeria says Zanzibar, so we'll confirm the ground once the Tanzania federation or CAF publishes it. Either way, Tanzania is 2 hours ahead of Nigeria. When the time comes out, it may well be printed in Tanzania time, so here's the conversion:
| If Dar es Salaam shows | Nigeria shows (WAT) |
|---|---|
| 4:00 PM | 2:00 PM |
| 7:00 PM | 5:00 PM |
| 8:00 PM | 6:00 PM |
Where do Nigeria stand in Group L?
Second, and one night in Bissau did most of the damage. Nigeria beat Madagascar 2-1 in Uyo on 25 September, then lost 3-0 to Guinea-Bissau four days later. Franculino Djaló, Mama Baldé and Álvaro Djaló scored, and it swung goal difference hard against the Eagles.
| Team | P | W | D | L | GD | Pts |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Guinea-Bissau | 2 | 2 | 0 | 0 | +5 | 6 |
| Nigeria | 2 | 1 | 0 | 1 | -2 | 3 |
| Madagascar | 2 | 0 | 1 | 1 | -1 | 1 |
| Tanzania | 2 | 0 | 1 | 1 | -2 | 1 |
The other two results: Tanzania 0-2 Guinea-Bissau and Madagascar 1-1 Tanzania. Guinea-Bissau have five goals and none against, which is a seven-goal gap on Nigeria before anyone plays again.
Can Nigeria still qualify for AFCON 2027?
Yes, but there's only one place on offer. Tanzania are already through as co-hosts with Kenya and Uganda, so Group L sends just the best of the other three. Most groups send two, which is why this one's so unforgiving. This table is only arithmetic, not a forecast: it shows what each November outcome leaves Nigeria on, and the ceiling with two games to go.
| Nigeria in November | Nigeria total | Most possible by the end |
|---|---|---|
| Win both | 9 | 15 |
| Win one, draw one | 7 | 13 |
| Win one, lose one | 6 | 12 |
| Draw both | 5 | 11 |
| Draw one, lose one | 4 | 10 |
| Lose both | 3 | 9 |
Guinea-Bissau play Madagascar twice in the same window, so they could reach 12 before March. That makes the last round the one to circle. Nigeria still have Madagascar away and Guinea-Bissau at home in the 22 to 30 March 2027 window, though those exact dates aren't out. The head-to-head with Guinea-Bissau gives Nigeria a direct way to close a gap, but only if the gap is still small by then.
Who is in the Super Eagles and Tanzania squads?
Tanzania have named theirs. Coach Miguel Gamondi picked 24, with Yanga and Azam supplying five each, plus Novatus Miroshi of Goztepe, Cyprian Kachewele of Kryvbas and Bernard Kamongo of FC Dallas.
We haven't seen an official NFF list for Nigeria. Reports expect Victor Osimhen back, and OwnGoal Nigeria says Philip Otele comes in for an injured Samuel Chukwueze, but that's one outlet and not an announcement. There's also a scheduling knot: Eric Chelle coaches the Olympic Eagles too, and they play DR Congo on the same two dates, in Lubumbashi on the 13th and Ikenne on the 17th. Reports suggest his assistants may take that group.
These two sides met recently. Nigeria won 2-1 in Fez at AFCON 2025 on 23 December, so neither team will be short of notes on the other.
How do you get USDT in Nigeria?
Gamting Nigeria runs on crypto, and your balance still shows in naira. From naira to a funded account usually goes like this:
- Buy: use an exchange's peer-to-peer market, or a P2P seller you trust, and pay in naira by bank transfer.
- Copy: take your USDT TRC20 deposit address from the Gamting cashier. USDC on Polygon also works.
- Send: withdraw from the exchange on the matching network. Sending on the wrong network can lose the coins.
Compare a few sellers first, since naira rates vary, and only mark an order as paid once you've really sent the money. Our USDT deposit guide for Nigeria goes through it in more detail. Withdrawal requests are reviewed, then sent to your wallet once approved.
